same problem

I got my Gallbladder removed in April 08', had one stone in it,, thing caused horrible pain, glad they took it out, but shortly after I noticed I was experiencing the same pain as if I still had my gallstone. It would come out of nowhere. My stomach would start to hurt a little and then a lot, seemed only pushing down on my stomach would make it less, then the pain would shoot to my chest making it hard to breath, then down my spine where it was nearly impossible to move. I've had these pains for almost 3 years, a month ago my doctor said I have IBS and put me on powdered fiber, it does help out a lot but I am still getting the pain, sometimes when I am just hungry. The IBS explains the stomach pain but not the chest or back pain. Driving me nuts, hurts Badly. Last about 4 min.  I heard IBS can cause muscle spasms but not sure if that is it. Anyway after reading this, I am glad to know I am not alone with this type of pain and hopefully I'll figure out the back and stomach pain,,
