vomiting and weight gain after GB removal

by MJ367, Jun 18, 2008 12:49PM
I have my GB out a exactly 1 year ago. I have been back to GI DR ten times to no avail. I have my "episodes" where after dinner (usually 1-3 hours) I will get a queasy feeling in my stomache.....and then I know what comes next........diareha and violent vomiting until there is nothing left in my body. I get teh chills, I sweat, I get weak, I get a head ache.................and then I am fine. After doing my own internet research I started taking bile salts with dinner and it has worked some. I have also gained 14 lbs since the day it came out. I gained 10 pounds instantly. It was insane. It doesnt matter what I try, I can not lose weight.

This discussion is related to weight loss, nausea vomiting bile after gallbladder removal.
