AST SGOT for liver

CP9
my blood test showed SGOT (AST) result as 52.00. Is it ok ? if not what should be the acceptable range ? I am 58 years old and enjoy good health. I am a vegetarian, non smoker and drink once or twice a week ( one or two small whiskey) If 52.00 result is  high, how to bring to normal limit ? All other tests in my case wer ok.

I'll bump this back to the top.

And also you may want to post on the liver forum because a doctor swings by there now and then.

Did you have a hepatitus panel? (hep a, b and c)
If not, just to be sure, you should.
