ALTACE

Right now I am on ALTACE for blood pressure. Lately I have been getting cramping pains to me left middle and lower abdomen. I also am getting sharp pains into my arms and slight tingling into me face. If I move or excercise there is no "heart" pain. IE) Stress or exercise doesnt make it worse. This is just damned annoying. Could it be related to the BP medication? Also have noted, BP 4 weeks ago was 120/70, now its creeping up to 140/96.

Dear David,

These might be side effects of your blood pressure medication.  However, the tingling in your face is of concern and i would have that evaluated by your physician.  This might represent neurologic pain secondary to your neck or other areas.
