Dr. Dean Ornish's program

Hi.

I'm just wondering what impact Dr. Dean Ornish's reversing heart disease program has had on the way cardiologists treat coronary heart disease?  Are cardiologists allowed to recommend this program to patients, and if so do cardiologists recommend this program to patients in some situations?  If they do, in what situations would they do this?

Thank you.
Good bye.

For the very motivated, compulsive patient this program is very useful and does reduce cholesterol and thereeefore the risk of coronary disease.

It is difficult for most people to follow this diet although it is geneerally effective and safe if one can follow it.
