Echo cardiogram

Echo cardiogram

I just has a echocardiogram because a CT showed an irregular right ventricle and slightly prominent aorta for my age (30)

The echo results showed the following:

mitral valve : trace mitral regurgitation
tricuspid valve: physiologic tricuspid regurgitation
pulmonic valve: mild valvular regurgitation

EDV 88ML
ESV 25ML

Everything else on the results were within normal ranges. Doctor said not to worry that these results mean nothing and are normal.

The thing is for the last two years I have been having shortness of breath, constant phlem on my chest, cough, tiredness, walking up in middle of night racing heart.  I went for a pulmonary test a year ago and they said there is a slight restriction.  Follow up - CT scan did not show anything.

My questions are:

Can these results be causing my symptoms. What do they mean?
Is it possible for heart valve issues to cause a lung restriction?
If my EF rate is 75% isnt that high. Is that normal?

Any recommendations on further test or follow up..

Thanks

These echo results are entirely normal and are not likely to be related to any of the symptoms that you have been having. The valves in the heart almost always have some degree of "leakiness" as your echo showed. Your ejection fraction is also normal - the pumping chamber does not completely empty with each beat. All in all, it sounds like all of the tests that you have had are completely normal.
