MR TREATMENTS

my sister have sevier MR and prolapse.she is only 14 years old.she is having ramiprill ,digoxin tabelets.
she needs any surgery? in medical treatment this diease will remove ?can you please answer ?

Mitral prolapse can be a congenital disorder and can lead to mitral regurgitation.  The mitral regurgitation can be severe or can be very mild.  Mitral regurgitation is only treated surgically if it causes significant symptoms or dysfunction of the left ventricle.  Your sister will need to be monitored by her cardiologist for worsening of her disease.
