Could you tell me the pros and cons of chelation therapy in a nutshell? Does it really work for the prevention of CAD and if you already have coronary blockages can it really reverse it? If so, how long does it take before the arteries clog up again? Is the procedure safe?

Dear Lourdes
As I had written in my response to your question yesterday, I would advise against chelation therapy for coronary artery disease. I think it takes advantage of people who are looking for easy ways to cure heart disease.
I hope this is useful. Feel free to write back with further questions.
If you would like to set up an appointment with one of our cardiologists here at the Cleveland Clinic please feel free to call 1-800-CCF-CARE.
