I was sent for an EchoCardiogram a few months ago , because i was complaing of chest pain. The doctor gave me a few EKg's on diffrent occasions and they all came back normal. When i went for the echo It came back saying i had a minimal Mitral Valve regurgitation. My question is ...can this cause chest pain? I still have the pain in my chest, it is mostly on the left side.I was also told that i may have Left Ulnar Orbital syndrom (syndrome) in my left arm. Would this cause chest pain? Please help i am going out of my mind with worry.
Thanks

There is a higher incidence of chest pain complaints in people with MVP.  It is unclear however if the chest pain is due to MVP and what the best treatment is. I doubt your arm pain would cause chest pain. Have other potential causes of chest pain (eg GI causes, panic attacks) been explored?
