Stress test normal or not?

I recently had a stress test and was told it was normal but when I got a copy of the report it said that a moderate sized fixed  apical perfusion abnormality was found. I am still having blood pressures that range from 194/144 to 98/50 and am on three BP pills and still having chest pains they say are from Fibromyalgia any suggestions and is this normal?

If you are a female, it is possible that the defect was caused by what we refer to as breast attenuation.  The physician who read the test must have felt that the defect was due to that as there probably weren't any wall motion abnormalities noted during the stress phase implying that the fixed defect was an artifact of the test. Therefore the test is most likely normal.  I would just confirm that with you doctor.
