cariovascular syphilis

This is a hypothetical question. I've heard its very hard to diagnose the symptoms of diagnosing caridiovascular syphilis like an aortic aneurysm, aortic dialation, stenosis, or aortic valve dilation.  I want to know if a stethoscope examination or ekg could diagnose any of those conditions?

While the incidence of syphillis (syphilis) has declined through the years with the high prevalence of antibiotic use, it is still seen. Syphillis (syphilis) can cause an aortitis (inflammation in the aorta). Aortitis can be most easily diagnosed with a CT scan of the aorta but if the aortic valve is involved this can sometimes be heard with a stethoscope.
