tightness in chest tingling or numbness in right palm at same time for last 3 days

can you explain what could be going on when I have tightness in the chest and numbness and or tingling in my RIGHT palm (not fingers) at the same time. This has gone on for the last two days. I have also been experiencing migrane (migraine) headaches that I related to my TMJ. thanks

Numbness and tingling (or parasthesias) can occur for a number of reasons --  such as nerve entrapment (i.e. carpal tunnel syndrome), and decreased blood flow to the nerve. When this is associated with chest discomfort this may indicate an underlying problem with blood flow to the heart. Other concerning symptoms would include shortness of breath, light-headedness, nausea/vomitting, or fainting. With your history of migraine headaches, this may also be related to underlying vasospasm. Unfortunately, it is impossible to make a diagnosis without a history and physical exam. If you are having these frequently/persistently, I would suggests evaluation by a licensed physician who can obtain basic tests to further evaluate this.
