reoperation candidate due to Myasthia Gravis (1980) growth on thymus removed.  RVF; TEE & echo test complete waiting for appt w/cardo doc., doctor doing TEE said "tricuspid tear" talk to your cardo. What is treatment or surgery options

It depends on the amount of tricuspid regurgitation, pulmonary pressures and your symptoms. If you have a lot of ll these three things then you may need tricuspid valve repair or replacement. Of all of the valve surgeries, the ones that address the tricuspid valve, especially if the underlying problem is tricuspid regurgitation, have the lowest amounts of success. Clinical success is probably in the 30-40% range. This must be taken into account if the only option to repair the valve is surgery.
