Just got tested for hepatitis again, last time was negative.  Previous diagonsis of NASH but no signs of enlarged liver during ultrasound.  I wonder are there viruses that are not yet discovered that can attack the liver?  There must be if my hep. tests come back negative again.  I have started a healthy lifestyle (walking, quit soft drinks and fast foods) after the 133 readings but they just went up to 141.  Please write me with some advice thanks.  Also how long does it take to get the results of the hep. tests I get liver panel results the same day if I go in early.  I am a member of Kaiser.

1.  Have a liver panel done is the right thing t do.

2.  Kaiser takes 1-2 days to have the results.  DNA result 4 days.

3.  Many things can cause ALT to go up, not just HBV.

4.  Have your test done and post the results here.

Best.
