Hep B and Breast feeding???

Hello
I'm currently 5months pregnant and just need some insight on how safe it is to breastfeeding for the baby?I have chronic hepB and was taking entecavir until just over a year ago when i decided to try for a baby. I know the baby gets some shot immediately after birth which should 'protect' them or smething but i'm just worried if i won't harm the baby by breast-feeding seeing the breastmilk will have the virus.

Your baby needs 2 shots within 12 hours of birth. (1 HBIG shot and the first of 3 HBV vaccine shots.)
After these 2 shots, you can safely breast feed.

The CDC says that HBV is not transmitted via breast milk. Please see the section regarding pregnancy on the welcome page found here:

Congratulations on the new addition to you family!
