Hepa B profile
Hi there,

I just want to know what are the interpretations on my Hepa B profile. Hope you can help me!

HBSAG
Cut-off: 1.00
Patient's count: 0.62
Result: Negative

Anti-HBS
Cut-off: 10.00
Patient's count: 10.89
Result: Reactive

The doctor said that I don't need to be vaccinated but it's bothering me as to why did my Anti-HBS have been reactive because as far as my mother knows, I haven't been vaccinated since birth. Does it mean that I am a Hepa B carrier? Can I infect others??

Your help will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

if you had no vaccine you already had hbv and cleared it long time ago since antibody is reactive but low level

hbsab titer is enough to protect you for life
