another recent study on ntz
i have found other recent studies on nitazoxanide (alinia), the first is interesting because explains very clearly the way ntz works and also explains why it has few sides, ntz is active only on infected cells and not on healthy cells, last article after talking about other hbv drugs

http://www.wjgnet.com/1007-9327/full/v15/i28/3472.htm

so actually the target of ntz are only viral antigens hbsag, hbeag and hbcag not the hbvdna, so we can understand if it works or not by checking the antigens quantity once antigenes have lowered immune system starts working and hbvdna and alt gets normal but this is a second step that may happen later (at 24-48 weeks)

this second article might be even more complete but must be purchased from Gastroenterology, only abstract is available

sorry used wrong words but result is almost the same anyway, used sides instead of toxicity (but toxicity is equal sides)

researcher said on article: ntz is active only on infected cells, this might explain why it has very low toxicity
