Subject: PEG INFN dose/efficacy

Forum: The Hepatitis Forum

will be starting study- 1.5 mcg PEG INFN/kg vs standard combo.e.g., 100 kg patient will receive 150 mcg 1x48 weeks with Ribavirin or will have PEG dose reduced to 50 mcg (with Riba) after 4 weeks...my question is which option represents the "higher/more effective dose"-PEG or standard combo-specifically fo a type 2b,grade 1-2, stage 1, viral load 6.7 million?
