Needing your opinion on the drug Vaclyvor

Hi.
I'm a 42 year old female. I contacted genital herpes 6 years ago and had very few out breaks. After a very serious accident last year, my body it seems lost it's ability to fight the virus and I've been having recurring outbreaks, almost constantly since the accident. The outbreaks are painful and persist to such an extent, i finally got exhausted of trying to cope and went on Valaclyclovir/valtrex daily dose 500 mg. I very much resisted this decision as i have taken this drug in the past for occasional outbreaks and, although it works, have always found it hard on my body.
So I have taken one a day for a month. the outbreaks have disappeared, but my HAIR is falling out!! I've looked it up and I see that hair thinning is a complaint/side effect(rare) of this drug.
Does anyone else find this? Does anyone else know of any other drug that does NOT cause this side effect? I'm also trying homeopathic remedies but this virus is a tough one to keep at bay...
help! really don't want to lose my hair on top of everything else!

have you been seen and properly tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally since this all started with increased ob's?

nothing homeopathic really seems to help for herpes :(

you can try switching to acyclovir 400mg 2x/day and see if you have less hair loss with that or even famvir 250 mg 2x/day.
