mold on food won't give you a bacterial skin infection dear.
folliculitis happens. we are exposed to bacterial 24/7/365 and sometimes it causes us illness. Usually there is no real cause for how you got it - it usually is just the "normal" bacteria on our skin that sometimes gets in where it doesn't belong and/or overgrows to cause us symptoms.
continue to follow up when you have symptoms. nothing you've mentioned sounds like herpes causing your symptoms. also keep active - just sitting around in front of the computer more than usual can cause nerves to become irritated and cause you pain :)
The best thing is to keep working with your provider on your symptoms as you get them.
hi grace,
Just an update about my symptoms.
]In my first post, i have mentioned the following symptoms,.
"week -6 I had a red colored pin head sized bump on right arm and on the stomach with no pain. "
three days ago i met my provider, because i got puss filled tiny red colored tiny bump in my left thigh.
when he examined, he said it is folliculitis. i showed my arm and stomach and he confirmed that all are folliculitis.
he gave me antibiotics for three days and crixan gel to apply on the bumps.
it started vanishing slowly.
i understood how i got this. a month ago, my parents left the home for a vacation and i forgot the food they had left for me.after three weeks it had formed fungus on the food vessels. so i cleaned it with bare hand. that might be the cause of the follicular infection.
i correlated this as symptoms of herpes. it was coincidence.
now i ruled out one symptoms and confirmed. i also googled and read about it. it is folliculitis.
i really cant get the reason for throbbing abdomen, testicles and buttock ache (at times). i never got these symptoms in my life time, before the insertive oral sex. that too, i got these symptoms exactly three days after the oral sex.
another 20 days for my hsv test.
i will keep you updated.
please let me know, if you have any suggestions.
thanks :)
if you can get the captia or herpeselect tests done, those are reliable.
already said that someone else's post is meaningless to me - it's only what you tell me about your own situation that matters!!
there are some high-tech laboratories available here these days. can you please let me know, what test i should take to get the accurate results.
As i crossed almost two and half months with managing the anxiety. i can wait for another month and wait for the test to be done.
my last humble request to you, can you please have a look at this thread. because i have the same exact symptoms as that person reported after the exposure of unprotected oral sex. And he is also from india. I worry that are there any undocumented symptoms of HSV and that is very asymptomatic without any sores or lesions in the genitals.
after your response to this question, i will post only with the results.
regards
nix
they do sound like oral herpes aka fever blisters, cold sores that you had as a child. Pretty common to get them when you are out in the sun too much and as kids, many of us spend a good deal of the time outside playing.
good luck with the herpes igg blood testing in India. Not much of it I can help you with since many of the tests used there are not tests we use here in the US so it's hard for me to comment on them in general.
You've had a history of mouth sores in the past. Not sure from your description if it's hsv1 orally going on or not but if you had oral herpes as a boy, you still have it and you can still have recurrences of it even if it's been awhile. These are not new mouth symptoms for you so really no reason to worry about them.
Nothing you've mentioned sounds like genital herpes going on. Hsv1 is the biggest herpes risk from receiving oral sex and if you already have that orally, it's incredibly unlikely that you'd contract it genitally from oral sex later on.
have you ever been tested for herpes before to know your own status?
