is this herpes?

i've had a yeast infection for the past week and it is the worst pain i have ever gone threw. i took monistat & i think i might have had an allergic reaction to it because the skin around my vagina is all red and looks like it's peeling off. it's extremely itchy. yesterday i noticed a sore, like a canker sore, just to the left of my clitoris. i've never heard of getting sores from yeast infections but i heard that if it's really severe that you might. back in may i noticed little white dots all around the opening of my vagina. i'm scared that i might have herpes or something else, or it could just be a really bad yeast infection. either way, i need someway to get rid of this pain because it's killing me.

You need to be seen for your symptoms, and get the lesion swabbed asap. Yes, it could be herpes based on your description. Typically yeast will start to ease with treatment after a couple/few days. As to an allergic reaction, that you'd have to talk to your doc about, but you may just be assuming that given the severity of your symptoms. And pain isn't associated so much as itching when it comes to yeast (pain would happen perhaps if you're scratching/irritating it). Pain is, however, associated with herpes.

Either way, I'd get in to see your doc sooner than later.
