Hi. My husband is 33 yrs ,non alcoholic and recently he happened to visit a pulse reader who detected that his liver is quite sluggish . For that reason he did a liver function test where his sgot was 31 and SGPT was 52 but after 2 months following not a very strict diet and with irregular exercises he tested again showing sgot as 44 and SGPT 55..that means slight increase again.his father(non alcoholic) had hepatic cellular carcinoma with cirrhosis and passed away . That's why he's bit worried. Should he undergo any type of scanning or does he has got fatty liver? Or any specific diet? Please suggest.
