Normal cycle after a D&C

Normal cycle after a D&C

When do your periods get back to normal after a D&C.   i had a d&c in aug.  i was 11 wks pregnant.  since then i have had only 1 period.   i was due to start my 2nd period this past Friday .  It never came.  i really dont think im pregnant, i have no sympotoms.  Plus its really hard for me to get pregnant.  i just think its just not back to my normal cycle which was every 28 days like clock work.  So i was just wondering how long did it take for you to have a normally timed cycle again.  and should i bring this up to the doctor or just give it more time to see if my body can figure it out itself.   Thanks

have you done a HPT? if you are usually a 28 day cycle then it is quite possible that you are pregnant already. it is different for every woman as to when her cycle will get back to normal. I feel that if you have had regular periods in the past and have had one already then it shouldn't take long. I would talk to your Dr if you are feeling worried about it. you can ovulate as early as two weeks after a miscarriage even with having a D&C.
if you haven't done a HPT than i would suggest you do one just to make sure.
good luck and keep us informed!
