Pretty quiet on my end...other than the pain in the head and the leg and the bladder...

Hoping to hear from the neuro office re: my bladder troubles but won't hold my breath I guess...that proves to be futile and only turns my face funny colors!

A bit of Christmas shopping...I figure if I buy a few every few days I might have it done by December 26th.

Feeling a bit down as I always do at this time of year...no particular reason, just always feel down.

Am thinking of doing a bit of baking but have to do it when hubby is working...I hate when people laugh at me trying to bake so it's best for his health that I do it when he is not home.

Working all week.
Today (Tues) went to see my dermatologist to get more pre-cancer frozen off - thanks to my Irish skin.
Thurs going to get my brain and c-spine MRIs done - only on the 1.5T - I thought it was going to be on the 3T.
Sat, partner and I are going to a co-worker's house for games and pizza.

Monday we flew back into Colorado and the temperature was in the high teens.

Tuesday till ??  Fighting with Medco since the Doctor messed up and signed for Flexeril and Tegretol on the "No substitutions authorized line" and they billed me for $124 for a prescription that should have cost about $10.  My companies health insurance advocate is chomping on them right now.

Tuesday - Friday is a normal work week.

I had my first call with Shared Solutions Monday.  Kind of hit me out of nowhere when they asked, "So what day were you diagnosed with RRMS?"  I guess it was the day I saw the Neurologist last.  Autoinjector showed up.  Guess they are getting the authorization setup with Medco to ship the Copaxone.  Shared Solutions also set me up with their folks to pick up my copay on the Copaxone.  That will save a few bucks every 3 months.

All this added on top of the Holiday madness.

I *think* I might have a pretty quiet week, only keeping the house from falling apart and working on my latest test. But, I'm going to have to try to get my oldest son and youngest son into the doctor, hopefully this week. The oldest seems to be having growing pains that are getting worse...that'll teach him to be bigger than me when he is only 13 LOL My youngest son has had a cough since the 15th. I want to get him checked for asthma.

That should be the only thing going on until this weekend when we get our tree and take the kids picture for our Christmas card. It's getting harder and harder to think of creative picture ideas, but I finally figured one out :-)

Happy birthday Drsdonthelp!

Today, just finished wrapping about 30 Hanukkah presents for the kids, while listening to some excellent jazz music.  I am relaxed right now, dinner in the oven, and the last 10 minutes are "mine" until they get home. (the only difficult problem was that I am still having double vision when I look to the right. I am learning to keep my head adjusted so I look to the left, but the wrapping did make me a bit nauseous)

Tues, working.(again, going to be tricky with the double vision while examining people with double vision.) Oh, the irony of it all...

Wed, Hanukkah starts and we light the 1st candle.  (with present, latkes and the dreidel game to follow.)

Thur, band concert for my son, lunch with my dad. (another enjoyable day).

Friday,  appt with Vascular doc to see if I can get of coumadin and onto something else, so I can try a different MS med. (Copaxone just isn't doing it for me).  Night, Hanukakh service and potluck @ the temple.

The weekend full of the usual boy activities, soccer, scouts etc.

hubby is doing most of the driving these days. At least he realized the consequences with driving and seeing 2.  I am wearing a plastic prism to help out, with the sun has lots of glare.

Two big events later this week.

Annual Christmas banquet for all ministers & spouses in our district is Friday night.  Praying that the weather is decent.  We're an hour away, but many others are twice that far.  Great time to connect with friends, classmates, & other peers from around Ohio.

Village where the church is located is having an "Old-Fashioned Christmas" event on Saturday night.  Hopes include lining the main road with luminaria from one end of town to the other, a distance of about a mile.  My oldest brother is coming to play Santa, a role in which he's thrived for over three decades.  There's also a home tour, and residents and businesses are being urged to decorate.  Not sure what Nancy and I are really supposed to be doing during all that time; we've been part of the planning committee, but studiously avoided volunteering for much.  Maybe we can duck out early.

Wednesday night we will decorate the church.  Sometime in all of this extracurricular activity I still need to prepare Sunday's sermon and the worship program, along with visit sick, call on elderly, & all those usual things.  Also, I bought some spotlights and a timer for the church sign.  These are cheap, intended to be temporary, but to give us an idea of what should be done more permanently.

Nancy had another monthly infusion for RA this AM, but was already back at work an hour ago.  That and paying bills are our only medical concerns this week, Lord willing.

Blessings to all y'all.

Not much. Trying to recover from trip to Florida and all the cleaning before hand for the house sitter.

It was a trip driving 5 1/2 hours with double vision. The trip is 12 1/2 of driving each way. At least I did not have to hide the MS this year. I got lots of nature shots even a dolphin.

Happy Birthday Drsdonthelp

This week is a mellow one. Only two doc appointments on Wed back to back. Handy that.

If my energy keeps up, I plan on cleaning house and emptying the closet that was planned to get converted into a coat closet.

The rest of the week is cooking. With the family going back to school and work, it's going to feel like vacation for me - with no clients booked and only two doc appointments. Yahoo!

Tuesday - I'm suppose to be doing something but for the life of me i can't remember if dd is coming for dinner or if i'm suppose to be going somewhere with her.

Thursday - seeing the vascular specialist, that will be interesting and exhausting. suppose to be going out to dinner for dh's christmas party, not going to happen though it would of been nice.

Saturday - MIL is having another garage sale and again its all hands on deck, got to do that for a few hours to keep her happy. I do think i'm suppose to be doing a follow up with my dr, usually see him sat because its easier for dh, so i'll need to check if i've got an appointment to discuss the vascular specialists thoughts this week or next lol i'm lost my marbles again!

Cheers...........JJ

My calendar this week exhausts me just thinkng aboout it...

Work Monday - my coworker is out on vacation so I get to handle the craziness of semester ending stuff on my own.  The pace will be frantic the next two weeks.

Tuesday I have an appt with the urologist to discuss all my uti problems and gather her suggestions for what to do differently.  I found a  new cath - it is a medicated one - that Iwant to ask her about.  I'll post details when I learn more about it from her.

Tuesday night a talk on Ampyra by a neuro I really like - she's great.

Wednesday afternoon I have a dental cleaning appointment - trying to get things done before the end of the year.

Thursday we are getting a new entry door installed at home - thanks to the tax credits available .  It involves the door and the side panels so it will be at least a half-day job.

I'll be in and out of work flexing my time around all these appointments.
