Ouch! (Not MS)

I had a rough foot day last Friday.  First I slipped in the bathroom and jammed a toe very badly.  After limping around to back to school things with the kiddos, I decided to get a cup of coffee.  Going into the shop, the door (with a metal bottom) closed too quickly and ran over my toes on my right foot.  (Suddenly my left foot didn't hurt nearly so badly!)

We were going away for the weekend so (after resting for a bit) I taped up my toes and we left.  When we got there I realized I really couldn't walk more than a few steps.  I got some crutches to make it through the long weekend.  Yesterday I saw the podiatrist and she gave my a hard soled "boot" that I can walk in (SOOOO much better than crutches).  Only one toe was broken (I though maybe two) but they hurt like the dickens if anything touches them!

Dr. said 3 weeks in the boot.  Hopefully the pain will get better before that!  (It is already better than it was, but I just can't put any pressure on it at all.)

:)  Thanks.  It's better than it was last weekend, so it must be healing!  Hopefully I can get back in real shoes soon.

It's always something, right?  We'll blame it on the MS anyway - spatial awareness, clumsiness and all that other stuff that comes with the MS .....  :-)

feel better,
