To all my wonderful female friends here in this great community, I would like to wish you a wonderful Mother's Day.

You may not have your own biological offspring, but you don't have to have children to mother.

Everyone of you take time in your busy lives to come here, share stories, lend a shoulder to cry on or a helpful listening ear.  There is a lot of hand holding, tear wiping, and wishing made here to take away pains.  

All of these skills and so much more go into nurturing and mothering our souls.  And I am thankful for each and everyone of you.

I cherish our Moms, and our Mom-likes! Definitely a day to give thanks and celebrate all those ladies who teach, support, love and care, and share their wisdom. Where would we be without them?

My son and daughter made me pancakes with strawberries for my breakfast in bed and then my hubby took us out to dinner.

What a beautiful post, Lulu!  Very well said.  My best wishes to you all here for a wonderful Mother's Day.  I woke up to a gorgeous plant in my room and a handmade card from my daughter.  It made my morning.  :)

Mothers day over here in OZ is about to end (i think you guys might be a day behind us) its been a first for me, my daughter came over and cooked a roast beef dinner, wow how things have changed, i might actually have done something right bringing up this child! lol
