COMPUTERS AND BRAIN TUMORS

Hi.  I was wondering if I am at any risk for developing brain tumors now, or down the road?  I have been a pretty heavy computer user for a while.  I am 16 years old and computers are my big hobby.  I spend quite a few hours in front of it a day (but not every day).  I have read a lot of things reguarding brain and central nervous system tumors associated with EMF, so I was wondering if just one computer can cause health problems.  I don't live near any powerlines, and my house doesn't have many large appliances in it, all I'm worried about is the computer.  Would you be able to give me any information reguarding this topic.  Thank you so much for your help.

Thanks for your question.  To date, there have been no compelling studies
confirming any correlation between prolonged computer usage and any tumors,
in the brain or in any other organ systems.  You might recall a certain
scarce a few years ago, supposedly linking usage of cellular phone and
brain tumors.  That correlation was proved to be incorrect.
I hope this information is helpful.
