Complex tbi and adhd

I had encepphalitis and age 5, a TBI at age  7  (unconscious for 6-8 hours), and head injuries from abuse. I have had other head injuries as an adult. i was diagnosed with ADHD at 50 additionally I have complex PTSD. I am 63 and take medication which seems to help. Developmentally I have endured ridicule, fights as a child, and poor school performance. Explosive outbursts, auditory processing problems, irritabilty, and too many other signs and symtomsIronically I am a child and adult therapist. I have had to explain my behavior so much I am tired of it.My thoughts are that is a connection between all 3 diagnoses.

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

There is a condition called post-concussive syndrome which typically has symptoms such as headache, dizziness, memory challenges, difficulties with concentration, fatigue, depression, anxiety, psychiatric disturbances and increased or decrease in sleep. These typically appear soon after the head injury and predominantly resolve within a year after the injury. However, for some, the symptoms may persist.

I suggest that you follow up with your physician. You may need to have a psychiatric evaluation to determine if you have an organic cause for your symptoms or not.
