also had suffered from prepuberty febrile convulsions. Testing and scanning to date
indicate occipital temporal dysplasia. Being on Felbamate for about six months caused no
reduction in frequency of about one seizure per week. What is CCFs experience with
extratemporal surgery, what is involved and what are the outcomes? I would greatly
appreciate your response.
Many thanks for you reply. Assuming that a surgical resection treatment is chosen could
you please let us know how many adult extratemporal resection does CCF perform
annually, and how do outcomes compare with those in Engel et.al.s Surgical Treatment
of the Epilepsies, 1993, (table #1). Kindly provide data such as percentiles of seizure-free
vs improved vs not improved. Thanks
