MRI was done ..states...Conus Medullaris is well visualized and is slightly LOWER than often seen. The L1-1-2 and the L2-3 intervertebral discs are normal. There is signal void at the L3-4 level due to the bone graft noted on plain radiographs. There is also evidence for significant degenerative disease and desiccation of the L4 and L5-S1 intervertebral Disc. At the L4-5 there is some degenerative facet joint hypertrophy but no evidence for disc herniation. At L5-S1 there is also in significant extradural defect.
