On Feb10, 1999I had a serious right hemisphree stroke that left me paralyzed I have had relatively good recovery of my leg. I am able to walk without any aid. However whrn in new surrounding I freez up pfysoically as well as donot people or siyuation that may be on my left side. What exercises can i do to minimize this left side neglect.?
The reason for your neglect is that your stroke damaged the side of the brain that gives you notice of the left side of your body. As your undergoing rehab, you should begin to adapt to this situation. There are no real exercises you can go, but the rehab personal are usual very familiar with these things and can direct your adaptation.
