spinal stenosis

by Jenswan, Apr 29, 2009 01:39PM
My mother is 87 and has severe, crippling spinal stenosis.  Is laser spinal surgery a good option?  How effective is it, what is the rate of complications, etc.  How can I find out about  locations where she could have the surgery, and surgeons who are experienced in it.   Thanks.

Laser is not a good option as I know (but you also can ask my friend on Medhelp Dr Pilay)
your mom can tolerate a simple laminectomy. this is a type of quick easy surgery which should offer a benefit for her

you are most welcome
