CYST

my name is damaries, i had a miscarriage in 04-02-11 i went to hospital and the doctor said i had cyst in my right ovary.I am so worried i have never got pregnant again. Please help me do i have a problem? My husband is in Sudan he comes after 3 weeks we have sex he always asks me when do i want a baby.thanks

Hi,
Which ovarian cysts do you have? Certain cysts do not affect fertility.Endometriomas caused by endometriosis; ovarian cysts resulting from polycystic ovaries can contribute to problems with fertility in some women. Functional cysts, cystadenomas and dermoid cysts usually do not affect fertility. You need further evaluation regarding the nature of the cyst. Ultrasound or a CT scan will help make a diagnosis. Consult your gynecologist.
