Vitamins (too much)?

Hi, thanks for reading.
I am currently living in China and although adapting to the food and lifestyle, I started taking alot of vitamins. Currently i am taking Centrum A-Z, seven-seas cod liver oil, 5mg beta carotene (a), 500mg Vit E, and 0.7g vit B group. Also taking coconut oil to help skin. Do you think this is too much vitamins? Any health risk. Thank you.

I don't know why you're taking what you're taking, and without knowing that, it's hard to tell if you're taking what you should.  But no, it's not too much.  If anything, it's probably insufficient, since Centrum vitamins suck.  Excess beta carotene is just flushed out of your body, but it also doesn't do a whole lot.  Vit. E isn't dosed in mg, it's dosed in IUs since it's an oil, and if it's not mixed tocopherols, it's useless.  And are you saying you're taking coconut oil internally?  Why?  Not very good for you that way.  Cod liver oil is used for skin, but fish oil is better for long-term use for most purposes.  One thing about vitamins, brand is very important for absorption, and so is form.  Tell us why you're taking what you're taking.
