Can I have a glass of wine while on zythromax?

Yes, you can, but you might not want to.

The primary reason we shouldn't have alcohol while taking antibiotics is because of "cumulative effects" on the body.
That is to say, the side effects of zythromax are things like vertigo, weakness, dizziness, breathing problems, face and tongue swelling, diarrhea, insomnia, to mention a few, and alcohol can make these side effects more likely and/or worse.
So, to be blunt, if you've got, for example, a light bloated sensation from the antibiotic, then a glas of wine may lead to you spending the rest of the night in the bathroom.

It's unlikely it'll cause massive health problems and it won't diminish the function of the antibiotic, so yes, you "can" have a glass of wine, but the side effects just might not be worth it.
