oh yeah, he said about the endometriosis. Bc he said it's not that, he took tissue anyway to test it just incase its the beginning of it or not. forgot that part
Hi ,
I hope you feel better soon , sounds like you had a mean nurse . You will recover better at home anyway in your own familiar surroundings away from mean nurses !!!
Wishing you a speedy recovery
Hi,
What a witch !! You're home now so try to forget about it and get on with your healing. Try and put it behind you.. I'm wondering, and someone I know will check in on this.. but is the scar tissue the same as adhesions? There is something called "body rolling" that some of the ladies have used for adhesions.. wonder if that would help you--- later.... not now!!! I'll try to remember where I saw that and drop a line to them and maybe that would help.. Hope so .. In the mean time,
Take care,
Sandy
I am gald that you are home and on the mend. If I were you, I would report that nurse. There is NO EXCUSE that kind of behavior. Now that the adhesions are gone, hopefully you will be feeling a lot better soon. You should call your gyn tomorrow and tell him that the Darvocet will not work because of the reaction and ask for some other kind of pain meds. Please keep us posed on what the tissue biopsy says. Remember to walk, walk, walk to get rid of those horrible gas pains. Let everyone wait on you!!
Hugs,
Kasie
Hi,
Found the post.. Now, I don't know if this would work later to prevent the same thing, but you could ask your dr... Here's the link ....

Hi again,
I don't know if you do the "copy and paste" thing.. I tried just to type it in and it didn't work.. But the copy and paste did...
Later,
Sandy
I just tried it out on copy and paste Sandy , its the post from mary on body rolling .
Angie
You already know what it is Sandy , cause you posted it lol !!! sorry my brains not working tonight .
Hi to all of you amazing women,
Thanks for posting this, Sandy, and for checking it out on the copying issue, Angie.
I just sent you a message, Sandy.... I promise to get this up on the Health Pages...really, I DO!!!
The post is long, but I suggest you print it (to anyone interested) and read it over and perhaps take it to the doctor if you are wondering when you could start the technique.
Take care, Mary
I know ....I was telling Leillasstar about the body rolling and found the post and was sending her the information because it is a very long post.... I tried to type in the link on the "address" thing and it didn't work.. so I just copied and pasted the address for her to "copy and paste"... Hey child.. what're you drinkin????? I'll have what you're having..
Maybe it's the heat?? It's o.k.....I do the same thing often.. more often than I'd like..
Later,
Sandy
See, now you have me doing it... the previous post was for Silver and Gold.....sorry about that !!!!! Maybe I need to go to bed LOL....
Night,
Sandy
Actually, the intriguing thing is that I really did follow all of that!
:) Goodnight,
Mary
hi there
sorry you had such an uncaring nurse. i was sent home the same night of my laparoscopic surgery 2yrs ago and looking back i should have argued for one night's stay. i left feeling nauseas and dizzy and had an hour drive home. it is unreal how quickly they can discharge you after something like this.
this time around my doctor (different one) said no matter whether he did my procedure laparoscopically or full laparotomy (the latter was the case) he'd keep me a minimum of one night. i ended up staying 3 w/ the full incision.
anyway, making sure you can pee etc is so important so that is terrible that they didn't check those things on/for you before you were discharged.
the gas pains are bad - much worse for me than any incision pain in had. but moving around helped and i even took gas-x for comfort (doesn't help w/ getting it out of you but helped take some of the discomfort away). i also used warm/moist heat packs on my abdomen which was very helpful.
now re the pain - did they offer you anything other than darvocet? what were your adverse reactions to it? there are so many pain meds so if you don't do well w/the opiods (which is what darvocet is ) they should be able to give you something else to treat the pain. did they at least give you prescription strength ibuprofen?
i have two cyst in my ovaries and im doing an operation the first week in august however i have been having burning sensation in the aera to be more spcfic in the right of my pelvic aera
So sorry to hear about your negative experience (not that surgery alone is a positive one). I do hope you can get a replacement painkiller and am glad they didn't find anything bad. Best wishes on your recuperation.
Trudie
Thank you all for your comments :) They didn't send me home w/anything but the medicationthat I had the reaction to, they offered me oxycotin but like a fool I didn't take it. I think @ that point with the way they were acting I just wanted to get out of there so I said no. I'm going to call my GYN today and ask if it's possible to still get it, bc I can barely even sit, laying down isn't great either. I was up and down all night bc of the pain. Hopefully they can give me SOMETHING. I'll keep updating.. again thank you for all the warm wishes and comments :)..hope all are doing well
Glad you are over and done with the surgery.....thanks for all the insight about the "gas" pains.... I'm having my laparoscopy next wednesday.... just preparing for it now....so I know what to expect..... Have a better recovery at home......
