6 year old with chest pain
MY SIX YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAS COMPLAINED OF CHEST PAIN OFF AND ON FOR 1 YEAR.. RECENTLY HAD ? ASTHMA ATTACK IN JANUARY AND ON MONDAY HAD BAD HEADACHE TUESDAY A NEAR FAINTING SPELL AND NOW ALMOST CONSTANT CHEST PAIN AND TIGHTNESS FEELING.. DR SAYS HE CAN'T FIND ANYTHING AND CHEST XRAY WAS NORMAL??? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

The first thing you need to do is to understand that true chest pain, due to a heart problem in children, is EXTREMELY rare. Those types of heart problems are easily found. Ask your pediatrician for a consult to see a pediatric cardiologist if that helps to ease your mind.
