My daughter was diagnosed with precocious puberty at the age of 8 by a peadiactic endocrinlogist. Her bone age was 11 to 11.5. She was on lupron 7.5, but within a week got her periods and again the subsequent month. So the doc prescribed 11.25. But with that she developed injection abscess which was very painful. Her estrogen test was done in Dec 2012 after 6 months of first lupron, the test results were "estrogen level of 60". One more 11.25 - again periods after a week of injection and also injection abscess. Lucrin does not seem to be working. Is there a way out ? Bone test was done again and the doctor said that it shows 11.5. She is 4.7" height and 36 kgs. I am concerned, Will she continue to grow tall ? Will the menstrual cycle again come back ?
