Straining too hard
Can I have a stroke by straining too hard while having a bowel movement?

Hi, its unlikely that straining with a bowel movement will cause stroke. If you are a hypertensive or diabetic, ensure to keep these under check. Eat healthy, a low salt and oily diet and exercise regularly. Also, if you have a strong family history then check with your doctor for prophylactic therapy with plavix. Regards.
