memory loss following a stroke

by BIGGIE707, Aug 17, 2009 03:57PM
I suffered a stroke mid April of this year, followed by atril fibrillation a month later.  I did not suffer any physical damage or impairments.  I miss approx. two months of work after the stroke and currently back full time as a Deputy Sheriff.  I am now noticing short term memory loss that appears to be progressing.  I run four miles every other day, weight train and have a very healthy diet.  My concern is, if this is normal for post stroke victims and/or if this should be a major concern.
