post stroke dizziness

I suffered a vertebral dissection which led to a stroke last July, which affected my cerebellum. I have since recovered almost all of my motor skills, but have recently noticed that I seem to slightly'dizzy' muchof the time. It isn't debilitating, but quite annoying. Also, about once a month I wake up with cold sweats that seem to be triggered by nausea (almost like vertigo). I was wondernig if this is "normal" since the brain was damaged, and if there is anything I can do to alleviate the problem.
