tia's in youth

My daughter, who is only 20 ears old, was diagnosed as having a possible tia in the ER a few days ago. Does this happen in healthy 20 year old females?

Yes.

Strokes & TIA's (mini strokes) happen to people of all ages.  A TIA is generally a warning of a full blown stroke waiting to happen (not not always).  So get her thorough checked out & do all you can to make sure she atttends to the causative factors.

I was 45 when I had my stroke just over a year ago.  I wouldn't wish it in my worst enemy, let alone a lovely young girl.  So get it checked, please.

HTH
