allergy to plastic mii blinds or oxidized windows??
I moved into this house 6 months ago.....I put new mini blinds up. the main windows are oxidized. When the sun shines in and the blinds get hot I get light headed, my tongue seems swollen, my gums and teeth hurt....it gives off a toxic odor only I can smell......I took my blinds all down and for a couple days I felt better, NI needed something on my windows till I figure out what to do so I hung white sheets to give me privacy but after about a week I started smelling another odor .... now smelling the curtains!! Could it be something coming off my windows?? Am I crazy or does any one have an idea??? Help
You could be allergic to a material released from heating up of the plastic blinds. This material may still be there in the air or sunlight could be falling on the plastic blinds (where you kept them). Ventilate your room well and if you still feel the symptoms, please consult a doctor. Also, look back and see if you are eating something new—fresh, canned, packed, tinned etc. This new edible item could also be the cause of your symptoms. Another possibility is dehydration. Take care!
