I have to agree. Most odd comment I've seen here, but its from 2007
..........."Some do good on Armour and some don't. The positive affects of Armour only last a few months, then the person starts to feel bad again.".........
Really? I (and countless others) feel better every month. Its like my age is going backwards, nice side effect to have!
Lazy Moose is not so lazy anymore.
Yes Nature throid (its the new name of wes throid) is on back order from a surge of Armour people that changed to it. They cant keep up with demand, they say might ship by mid dec.
Anyone heard of NatureThroid, or WesThroid (by same manufacturer)? they are scarce at the moment too...um, wonder why? I'm taking it because less side effect for me than Armour.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING ONE AND ALL.!!!
Can you PM me - I have some information to share with you
I have to chime in on this after reading Grave's Lady's post.
Kinda funny to me.... "Some do good on Armour and some don't. The positive affects of Armour only last a few months, then the person starts to feel bad again."
I have been doing T3/T4 combo now for almost 2 years and STILL feel fabulous.
Obviously - no personal experience was on that comment.
Well that original posting goes back a few years!
Where did you hear Armour is going off the market?
Are you aware the FDA stepped in and temporarily halted production? Armour changed their formula without the FDA's approval. Since the formula was changed it is technically a 'new drug' that now needs to go through FDA approval. Armour 60 is now available, but still hard to find.
If you need it, look further.
Armourthyroid has been my best medicine so far. When I was on synthyroid....I would be tireddddd, swell on my face, my weight was high....and confused................my levels are out of range with armouthryoid but I feel good with it. I heard it is going off the market and don't know what I am gonna do..........don't like synthyroid that much...........Well good luck to you............. :)
What do you mean synthroid on longer affective, your levels where in range. What do you mean your TSH is high, what is high.
Armour does not contain t4 and t3 at the same amount that our thyroids require, nor at the same ratio between t4 and t3.
Some do good on Armour and some don't. The positive affects of Armour only last a few months, then the person starts to feel bad again.
Whichever meds make YOU feel best, is the meds. for you.
