GravesLady has great advice!

Posting on this forum until your fingers bleed helps too (trust me).

If you are already this hypo can you get a TSH test NOW to see if you are above the magic number (usually 30) so you can get your RAI?  My hospital said usually it takes patients 6 weeks to climb that high.  I was tested after three weeks and was above 75 so they got me right in.  Call your endo's office and tell they you are really (REALLY) depressed and could you get your labs run ASAP.  Doesn't hurt to call and doesn't hurt to ask for antidepressants.

Only problem is antidepressants sometimes take weeks to begin working.  While you are waiting, sleep helps, long baths help, talking helps, and posting REALLY helps!!

Antidepressants! Doesn't have to be forever.  Just long enough to get you over and through the rough spots of thyroid.  Especially after RAI. With doctors knowledge and approval, of course.

Don't wait until you hurt the ones around you and the ones you love!

Speaking from experience.

Good Luck.
