Yes - you asked this on another post. Yes - Thyroid-S is being talked about too. I don't think anyone recommending anything is right to do. All thyroid patients are different and what may work for one - will not work for others.
It has been mentioned now and then I think.
I must add my original post has 'caught up with the times' and is already outdated.
The two generics in the US , Time Caps Labs and Major stopped making dessicated thyroid due to FDA interfierence this summer.
The 'reformulated' Armour does not work as well as the old.
Most people changed to Nature Throid (cost just a little more), will be available again soon.
Lastly, many people ordered ERFA thyroid (like old armour) from Canada.
johnson - you have a valid question, maybe get more replies if it was a NEW post though.
Has anyone heard of Thyroid S from Thialand? it was recommended on the "stope the Thyroid madness site.
I found a script at Walgreens and paid about $20 for the month
HI,
I got my doctor to prescribe that for me(Nature-Throid), and for 60 days supply it was $15.46 at Wal-mart.
Should be about the same price as Armour, give or take a few dollars. It is working great for my daughter after 10 weeks! , and not expensive at all!
