Oh boy......Iron Mountain is a LONG way from me!! I wish I could hold up my hand, like all of us Michiganders do, to show you where I'm at. I'm more toward the middle of the hand, where Iron Mountain is in "da UP" above the fingertips. Too funny. I'll try to find the e-mail that says "You know you're from Michigan IF....." and pass it along. But the one is:
You know you're from Michigan if you hold up your hand to point out to people where you live.
Sorry.....it's still kind of early, and the caffeine is hitting hard. :-)
Actually I could be going to Iron Mountain very soon.
Are you kidding -- with the weight Dac is losing now - .................................
...........................she will be a mean....... lean.........fight'n machine very soon :)
Love ya Dac :)
I heard that the Wii is really fun. Our fitness girl that does our exercise classes at work has one, and she has a blast with it - especially the boxing. BUT, she's the kind of person who thinks exercise IS fun, no matter what kind it is. Go figure. She's a little bit of nothing, and has grown up having exercise be a part of their lives. Her parents are very active as well. I can only hope a little bit of that rubs off on me!! So Dac....that's awesome that you're getting in there and playing. That'll definitely help with your weight loss (good job, by the way!), and you're building muscle tone too!! And having fun doing it? Bonus!
Hey Stella, when you're ready to take a trip to Dac's house to play, I'd love to come along too! We can meet up somewhere, since we're so close.
I know it's really wierd - Kip and I have alot in common. It's nice :)
Dac - you got a regular video super store at your house!! I wanna come and play
Today I wish my husband would disappear in a brain fog for just a couple days. Until Monday anyway when he goes back to work. Grrrrrrr
Only got 2 tries on the Guitar Hero. It's my 7yo nephews and he got mad b/c I was too good at it. I sing and play the piano some, so the rhythm wasn't all that hard on the easy ones. Played Wii for 2 hours last night with my little one. We boxed and then did the heavy bag. Whew! I was exhausted. Sore tired muscles today. That's quite a workout. Drives me insane that I'm no good at the baseball game when that was my sport growing up. Guess the other 2 kids need to save up their money for the rest of the band. Then I can steal them and play myself. hehe
You two are probably long-lost sisters! ;-)
Whew!! Saved me from falling out of the chair, thank goodness! Don't need that. I took a spill the night before my mom's funeral - right in their driveway. It had snowed a bunch that day, and both feet went out from under me. I fell flat on my behind. You'd think all the padding that I have would have helped, but not so much. That was two weeks ago, and my arse still hurts really bad! My dad doesn't call me "Grace" for nothing. ;-)
September 19 close -- but no cigar.
I am "figure this" cancer baby" July 15
Seriously?!?!?!?! September WHAT?? If you say the 15th, I'm gonna fall right out of this chair!! hahahhaaaaa
Just sent you a big long IM. Hopefully it doesn't bore you too much.
I hate to even ask this, but (whispering).....when is YOUR birthday?
First son turns 19 in SEPTEMBER and second (driving) turns16 MAY.
Are we twins?? close :)
Nice to meet you - sorry we met under thyroid terms - but whatever.
Your boys are pretty much the same age as mine. I have one to be 19 in September and one will be 16 (and driving!) in April. Yikes! You sound a lot like me. My boys are my life as well, but sometimes.......well, you know.
So you're liking Rock Band too? I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to a whole new CD with new songs. There were only a few on the first one that I knew - which makes singing to them.....well, interesting! It's pretty funny.
Congrats on 23 years yesterday! That's awesome. Maui next year? How wonderful. I'm ready to go someplace warm as well. I'm right next door to you in Michigan, so I'm sure you can relate to the fact that I'M SICK OF SNOW!!!!! ;-)
Lori
Same guy -- or Hashi brain???????
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... which ever. LOL AR-10 seems to like him. So I suppose he's OK. LOL
Guitar hero -- Yep "BIG" here too. X360 is in the shop for repair - so we are back to fighting to use the computers at home. That's why I am up at 3:30 on a SAT.
We bought the "Rock band" game too. (with the drums) AWESOME. As you know my boys are old going on 19 and 16. Great kids. They are my life. but get me ruffled at times.
I was the model wife last night for the big day. Sat with you guys a while and crashed on the couch. ALL NIGHT!! opps. :{
He's still really sick with the cold thing - so I'm sure he didn't mind sprawling out in bed. We have Maui coming on January 09 - so that is what we are looking forward to. :)
It was fun last night - for as long as I lasted. I can't wait until Monday to get those tests back - I will be "a calling frenzy patient" at 8am sharp to that doctors office.
There going to "earn" the cheesecake from a while ago. :)
Are you playing Guitar Hero with those kids?!?!?! We have it, and have SO much fun with it! Our latest purchase was Rock Band.....the one with the drums, guitar AND microphone. Go figure, it's me and the two teenagers. Just enough for one on each. It's hilarious! And fun! Before long, I'm sure we're going to be famous........NOT!! :-)

(insert evil laugh here)
What time does the pub open? Don't want to miss it tonight. May have to go fix supper now so I don't miss it. Think 3:30 is too early for supper? LOL Have had 3 children here playing Guitar Hero all day. Could use a good stiff drink. :-[
Just remember, Dac.
Whatever goes on the net, stays on the net.
You know what I'm saying? LOL!!!
Stella, Happy Anniversary!!
Are you bringing him to The Pub tonight? :)
