back & intercourse pain

I had a parcel hysterectomy 6 years ago. I have started having very painful intercourse. I do not have vaginal dryness or discharge.sometime I do have a vaginal smell but after bathing its gone. During the month I still have abdominal pain (cramps) and my breast swell and are very painful. I can't sleep a full night without waking. I stay tired all the time and depresses. So what I am wondering is could this be menopause . But the painful intercourse scares me. So please help me with this as to what I need to do.

THe breast tenderness and abdominal symptoms may be related to ovulation and premenstrual symptoms. If you have your ovaries, you can still have PMS symptoms even though you do not have a uterus. The painful intercourse may be related to spasms in the pelvic floor muscles. I would suggest an evaluation by a gynecologic surgeon. If this is negative for serious issues, then get an evaluation from a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist, who may be able to help you with this problem.
