Hi
I have been experiencing very intense lower abdominal pain.  The pain is so bad that it keeps me from walking for a while, and i've been to the doctor several times about it and they can't find anything wrong with me.  Sometimes it make me vomit, feel dizzy, and I can't eat for a while.  When I get this pain, my vaginal area start hurting(it's really weird).  This pain go and come but I have been getting it for about two years.  I'm not pregnant at all, for sure.  And I get regular periods.  My cousin has similar pain and her doctor found cancer cells, can this be the case for me?   Also, my second question is, everytime I have sex with my boyfriend, intercourse hurt so bad. It always been like that for me even before the abdominal pain started.  I'm not sure what is causing the pain.  I get annually pap exams, and the doctors always tell me that i'm normal even though I tell them what's going on with my body.  Do you know why I experience so much pain?
thanks

If your STD and pelvic ultrasound workup are negative, consider an evaluation by a pelvic floor physical therapist, who may be able to diagnose pelvic muscle trigger points. If present, these can be cured by physical therapy substantially improving your pain.
