Need a tapper plan

Hi,

I posted yesterday, and thank you for answering, I am still trying to figure out this new design of the forum. It's pretty neat, and like all things takes time to learn.  As old as I am, I never figured that I would get addicted to pills.  I want to quit and first thing Wednesday morning, I am starting my plan to get rid of the addiction.  I would go c/t if I didn't have to watch my grandchildren. Thank you all for your help, I may be posting a whole lot more.  Have a good evening.
Tobybear

P.S. I could use all the info on tappering that I can get.

Thanks,
I had to make hubby dinner and I learned how to contact someone on this forum.  I am on this site so that I can taper off of drugs without going into sever withdrawals.  Also need all the help I can get.  I can only tell my husband, no one else in the family or friends. They know I take meds, just not how many or that I am addicted. At my age you would think I would know better.  I started using them for pain, just like the Dr. told me, then an extra because I had to play with the grandkids.  My pain would be bearable, and then I just started to like the way they made me feel.  Not duped up, just more energitic and not depressed or tired.  Boy was I ever fooled by those little pills. Every time I tried to go without them, my stomach would hurt so bad that I would take 2 at atime to just feel better.  Now the energy is gone and I take them so I won't go into withdrawals.  Its not a very nice way to live.

Hi,
My problem is that I don't know how to use the forum to contact someone unless they E-mail me.  HOw do I contact someone, and ask for help?  I do appreciate the info.  I have been reading some of the post. I need to quit for me, and my family.   I want to live life, not just exist.

Tobybear, Welcome to the forum. Happy to hear you're gonna do this.  I know what you mean about at this age being addicted. I was always a drug prude, but here I sit a drug addict (pain pills).  Avisg  is very good with taper plans. Find her name on one of the posts, she has alittle purple star next to her name. PM her about a taper plan. She'll get back to you. Let her know what pills you have, how many you've been taking and how many you have left to taper with....all the info.
Good luck, this is the best decision you will ever have made. Keep posting.
